I like how the original "Red Plumber," aka Mario, is so simple and so basic. Clearly for the Super Nintendo I had to make Mario more intricate, more focalized, and more vibrant in their colors. I also knew I had to have the cape present. My friend growing up got the SNES first and we recorded the whole play-through on a VHS tape. We'd pass the controller back and forth and we did that about 1,000 times on Tubular, the Star World level (and still one of the most impossible gaming levels to this day).
Mario World pairs nicely with Peach and their images burst with color. Love, love, love moving into the SNES time frame.
